What is "The Torch"?

The torch symbolizes members' everlasting, burning desire to achieve success in a competitive society and positively affect the quality of life for all people. The lightning bolt represents the striking impact that will be felt by the society and industry due to the contributions and accomplishments made by the dedicated members of the National Society of Black Engineers.

1. What is EMU-NSBE?

 EMU-NSBE is the Eastern Michigan University Chapter of the National Society of Black   Engineers (NSBE)


2. Where can I find information about NSBE the organization as a whole?


3. How can I become a member of EMU-NSBE and NSBE National?


4. If I am not "African American " can I still join NSBE?

NSBE is open to anyone who wishes to join and make a positive contribution to its mission and cause.  


5. Who are the people behind the creation and management of this site and how can I contact them?

  • The design, coding, and publishing were essentially done by EMU-NSBE staff..

  • Maintenance will be done or is being done by  EMU-NSBE staff. Viable contact method is email. These email addresses should be available in the footer of the main pages.


6. Where are the photographs, videos, and audios from events?

7. Where can I go to find scholarships, jobs, and other information of that nature?
