Registration is open for the 2010 NSBE Aerospace Systems Conference!   Log onto NOL now and join us at this amazing event!  Limited spaces are available so act quickly!  The National Society of Black Engineers Alumni Extension proudly presents the 2010 Aerospace Systems Conference (NSBE-ASC), hosted by the NSBE Space and Aerospace Special Interest Groups.  This conference has been under development since the summer of 2006 and is now emerging as a new level of NSBE technical and professional activity.

The NSBE-ASC will be held February 5-10, 2010 , at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Los Angeles , California , one of the nation’s premiere hubs of aeronautical and astronautical activity.  Enabled by Premiere Sponsor Northrop Grumman, Elite Sponsors Raytheon and NASA, Platinum Sponsor ManTech, and Bronze Sponsor the Aerospace Corporation, this conference will stimulate the professional and technical development of NSBE engineers, graduate students, and entrepreneurs as well as facilitate the goals of our corporate partners in ways never before possible.  NSBE-ASC merges the technical caliber of an IEEE or AIAA conference with the mission relevance and impact of a NSBE conference.  We invite all NSBE Alumni members and graduate students with technical expertise or interest relevant to the aerospace industry to join this incredible undertaking.

 

Ways to Participate:

·         Submit an aerospace-related technical paper (full papers: 5-6 pg, overdue now)

·         Provide a trade show exhibit from your company

·         Assist as a volunteer (aerospace employment or education not required)

·         Encourage our undergraduate members to volunteer and to participate in our Undergraduate Future Leaders in Aerospace outreach program

·         Promote the conference to your region (Regional Recruiters needed for regions 1, 2, 4, and 5)

·         Suggest a keynote or plenary speaker (only few opportunities remaining)

·         Secure your company’s sponsorship

·         Attend an aerospace training course

·         Participate in our golf tournament, Los Angeles cultural tours, and aerospace company technical tours

·         Enjoy our motivational keynote speakers and network at our meal events

·         Nominate a colleague for our Celestial Torch Awards (see attachment, due Dec. 31)

·         Simply attend and grow from the experience!
