Brea Gates is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and currently completing her last two courses at Eastern Michigan University in their Master’s of Science in Engineering Management program. To be Completed 2010. During the course of her professional career she has optimized her technical and managerial skills through progressive roles and responsibilities.  Brea has implemented energy efficiency projects, total performance oriented retro-fits (TPOR), and manufacturing solutions for both the Healthcare and Refrigerated Dough industries.  She has worked with cross functional teams that included sales and marketing to develop project definition, justification, budgets, timelines, and staffing requirements. To date Brea has implemented over 120 projects with a total budget of approximately $18 Million.

Born in Detroit Michigan and then relocated and raised in Tampa Florida. Otis is the first in his nuclear family to attend college!  After graduation from high school Otis came back to Michigan to attend a home state university. From a single parent home Otis has made education his rock and mission in life. Spending his time in personal and academic development at great academic institutions in Michigan ,"OT" as he is called, has strived to break the cycle of the past in his own personal life and the lives of others! He is doing this by being a big brother and mentor to those trying to break the cycle also!   Otis enjoys flying aircraft, flying RC aircraft, designing RC aircraft, concept aircraft development ,computer based aircraft simulation flight profile modeling, all forms of CAD design and development, reading every thing from astronomy to poetry, writing poetry, star gazing , playing key board and spending time with friends and family!

Serving as your 2007-2009 NSBE Chapter President!

Otis's personal life statement is ,"I am the under dog in life because of the cards that life chosen to deal me and would have it no other way! For I  have earned my way by myself by striving to be a better me each and every day! (This I take great pride in!) Never give in to self pity or excuses for someone else's life may be far worse then your own and if I coming from poverty and humble beginnings could over come all these life tragedies and struggles and succeed then so can you!"
